Given that this blade is an easter-egg, at the VERY END of the Dark Brotherhood questline, and requires you to be in melee range to stagger lock I find it extremely likely that the unlisted enchantment was 100% intentional.
Adding to the element of mystery prevalent throughout the murderous group’s quests, the game’s designers have made entry into the Brotherhood somewhat convoluted.
